Greece is blessed with over three hundred varieties of local grapes. Wines produced from some of them, such as Agiorgitiko, Assyrtiko, Mavrodaphne, Moschofilero, Roditis, and Savvatiano, have gained a place in the international enological circles.  Moreover, wines from international varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah have been produced successfully in many areas of Greece.

I started importing Greek wines in 1995. Many people only experience Greek wine through the acquired taste of Retsina.  However, since the mid-nineties many delightful Greek wines have flowed through the palate of British consumers. Certainly they have enjoyed them. This is why I am still selling Greek wines - the real value of which lies in their quality and diversity.

The Greek Wine Experience offers wines from medium-size, family-owned wineries of known regions such as Nemea, Patras, Samos, Evia and Santorini.
